Vladimir Ilyich Lenin weighs in:

I found this set of quotes on the Canadian Republic blog. A nice summary of what we are up against, and how Progressives intend to extinguish this Dominion of Canada and our rights and freedoms:

Vladimir Ilyich Lenin quotes:

While the State exists, there can be no freedom. When there is freedom there will be no State.

The bourgeoisie is many times stronger than we. To give it the weapon of freedom of the press is to ease the enemy's cause, to help the class enemy. We do not desire to end in suicide, so we will not do this.

A system of licensing and registration is the perfect device to deny gun ownership to the bourgeoisie.

The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.

It is time to fight back!

We'll either die free or we die trying.

So did Hitler.

"'Late you come, but still you come,'" Hitler pointed at the hapless deputy. "You should have recognized the value of criticism during the years we were in opposition [when] our press was forbidden, our meetings were forbidden, and we were forbidden to speak for years on end."

What's that about those who fail to study history?
